Apple’s solar-powered iMac will be able to run its own operating system, the company has announced.
The iMac is a 10-inch, 13.3-inch notebook computer, which includes an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB hard drive.
The iMac also comes with Apple’s latest version of SolarWinds, an iOS-based solar-focused software development kit that can help developers develop their apps for iOS devices.
Apple has previously been developing software for solar farms, and the iMac and the iPhone 5s were shown off to the press in September, with a demonstration of how the two devices could power their own applications on a solar-generated display.
SolarWinds was first developed for developers and then published for commercial distribution in 2016.
The software is based on Apple’s SolarWind and SolarWind S software suites, and is compatible with Macs running OS X 10.11 El Capitan.
In addition to the iMisc, SolarWind is now available to developers who wish to integrate solar-derived graphics and lighting into their apps.
“Apple’s iMac was a groundbreaking step forward for developers with its incredible capabilities for mobile computing,” said Tim Fucke, Apple’s director of developer relations for the Mac OS X Developer Center.
“Now, with SolarWind, developers can take advantage of this technology with iOS developers, for example, and for Mac developers who want to use the iOS platform with their iOS apps.”
Solarwinds has been available since November, and it was previously used on a demo version of iOS 8, but it’s not available for use on the iPad yet.
As part of Apple’s “Spartan Launch” event last month, which featured presentations from the likes of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Apple announced a new set of features and updates for iOS developers.
Among the new features announced in that presentation were the ability to make your own applications that run on iOS devices, as well as support for apps that can be downloaded directly from the App Store.
Since iOS 8 was released, Apple has made several changes to the way it handles app updates.
Users can now download updates directly from App Store, and developers can download the updates directly.
Additionally, developers have the ability now to share updates with Apple.
Users can also install new software and update existing apps through the App Share feature on iOS.
Apple also announced that the new Mac App Store is now a “virtual marketplace” for developers.
On the Mac, developers are also able to develop for macOS High Sierra, which is a higher-level version of the operating system that includes the latest features, such as support of the Mac’s new virtual desktops.
